Good guidance starts with a clear source.

SAT for Parents helps families understand the digital SAT and choose a sensible next step. The publication is owned by Marius Manola, who also develops Aporo, an SAT learning application. That shared ownership matters when you read our guidance about paid preparation.

What the guides are built on

We link test format, registration, scoring and accommodation claims to College Board. College admission and scholarship decisions belong to the relevant institution. We distinguish those requirements from our suggested planning routines, original practice examples and hypothetical family decisions.

The six launch guides were reviewed against their linked sources on 25 October 2026. The editorial byline identifies the publication, rather than an invented counselor or test-prep credential. We do not claim first-hand student results, independent product testing or measured score improvements.

How to use the advice

Start with the guide that answers your current question. Use the worked examples to make your own plan. Before registering, sending scores, paying for a course or relying on a college policy, check the current official page linked in the relevant section. Publication does not establish that every requirement will remain the same.

Corrections and contact

For a factual correction, email support@aporo.app with the article URL, the passage and a link to the current primary source. Please do not include account passwords, identification documents or a student’s private score report.

SAT for Parents is independent of College Board and is not endorsed by it. SAT is a trademark of College Board.
